Default Router Password Vulnerability (Belkin) Proof of Concept
This is a proof of concept developed by Samy Kamkar, demonstrating why you should not leave a default password set on your router. If you're using a Belkin router with the default administrator password (NOT wifi password) and click the button below, your router's wifi name will change to "ISSX was here". No XSS required.
This proof of concept could be extended to do worse, such as changing your wifi password, setting an admin password, or even installing malicious firmware onto your router. All of this by simply visiting a web page.
